Brussels, 17 January 2023 - Worldline [Euronext: WLN], a global leader in digital payment services, is proud to announce that, besides the “Top Employer Belgium” and “Top Employer Europe” certifications, it has now been awarded with the Top Employer 2023 status in Asia-Pacific. Those certifications are granted by the Top Employers Institute, a global authority that recognises excellence in people management.

Worldline’s HR best practices

Worldline participated in the Top Employer external audit to assess its Human Resources best practices and level of long-term commitment and efforts in setting exemplary managerial and people practices within the company.

The Top Employers Institute programme certifies organisations based on the participation and results of their HR Best Practices Survey* which covers six HR domains, consisting of 20 topics.

Worldline is proud to be certified in a total of 16 countries. Besides Belgium, they include Australia, Austria, France, Germany, India, Italy, Malaysia, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the Group’s joint venture in Germany, PAYONE. Together, they received the “Top Employer Europe” and “Top Employer Asia-Pacific” certifications. Worldline was mainly recognized in three domains: Ethics & Integrity, Business Strategy and Employer Branding.

Worldine’s HR policy in Belgium stands out

TheTop Employer institute praised Worldline’s HR policy on different levels but some areas stood out more than others. Especially the development of innovative tools and new technologies in HR processes like onboarding, communication (making use of live broadcasting) and the digitalisation of employee documents. Like previous years, Worldline’s internal ‘communities’ were also positively received by theTop Employer Institute.

"Receiving the Top Employer certification again in Belgium is something to be proud of. It shows Worldline’s commitment to its employees and the willingness to keep on innovating and improving, not only on a technical or product level, but also on a human level. A well-balanced, modern HR-policy is what we strive for today and every day in the future", says Evelyne Mathot, HR Director Worldline Belgium at Worldline.
"Exceptional times bring out the best in people and organisations. And we have witnessed this in our Top Employers Certification Programme this year: exceptional performance from the certified Top Employers 2023. These employers have always shown that they care for the development and well-being of their people. By doing so, they collectively enrich the world of work. We are proud to announce and celebrate this year’s group of leading people-oriented employers: the Top Employers 2023", said Top Employers Institute CEO David Plink.
