Our history of leading payment innovation

Since we won the world’s first contract for bank card transactions back in 1973, we have been pioneers in the transformation of transactions. Every year we invest more than €300 million in innovation and deepen our partnerships with innovative players from across the global payment ecosystem. 



We acquire Axepta Italy and Eurobank merchant acquiring activities. We sell our terminals activities to Apollo Funds.



We acquire Cardlink, and Handelsbanken card acquiring activities. We launch TRUST 2025, our CSR programme.



Worldline welcomes Ingenico
Creating a new world-class leader in payment services.



Our carve-out from Atos establishes Worldline as an independent pure player in digital payments and transactions. €2.3 bn turnover



We build a strategic partnership with SIX and acquire SIX Payment Services. 11,000+ people and presence in 30+ countries
